Cleaning and maintenance methods for flame retardant curtains
How to install flame retardant curtains?
1. The accuracy of positioning and drawing is related to the success or failure of curtain installation. First, measure the fixed hole distance and the size of the required installation track.
2. Installation of curtain rails:
(1) Curtain rails are divided into single, double or three tracks. When the window width is greater than 1200mm, the curtain rails should be disconnected, and the bends should be staggered at the disconnection. The bends should be smooth and the overlap length should not be less than 200mm. Light curtain boxes are usually installed on track first. Machine screws should be added to heavy curtain rails; concealed curtain boxes should be installed in the tracks behind them. The small corners of the heavy curtain track should be tightened, and the wood screw specification should not be less than 30mm.
(2) Install the lifting clip, rotate the clip 90 degrees and connect it to the track, and use the self-tapping screw to install the lifting clip onto the top plate. If it is a concrete structure, expansion wire needs to be added;
3. Install curtain rod:
(1) Correct the connection fixture, install the rod or wire, and pull it on the fixture. Make sure that the room is flat and the same elevation.
(2) Install standard curtain tracks (dual tracks), and the foundation width should generally be above 15CM, and the single track can be reduced according to appropriate circumstances.
4. When adjusting the position of floor-standing curtains or curtains hanging over the countertops, the width of the window sill should be given out when installing the tracks to avoid being blocked when the curtains hang down and appearing indecent;
Cleaning and maintenance methods for flame-retardant curtains
When cleaning flame-retardant curtains, the first thing to do is to choose the correct detergent. Lotion solution containing bleach is suitable for cleaning white flame retardant curtains, but it cannot be used for colored flame retardant curtains to avoid fading. Colored flame retardant curtains must be made of bleach-free lotion. When cleaning white flame retardant curtains, be careful not to use cleaning solution containing chlorine bleach. Choose cleaning solution containing oxygen bleach, so as to achieve the purpose of improving the washing effect without damaging the flax fiber.
In addition, flax washing also has water requirements. If the hardness of the water is too high (the content of lime matter in the water is high), it is best to add a softener, especially when cleaning dark linen fabrics. Since flax has good water absorption, the amount of water used should be appropriately increased during washing. The water temperature is based on the instructions on washing labels on the clothes. If the water temperature is too high, the clothes may shrink.
Do not overload the washing machine when washing, so that the linen clothes have enough space in the washing machine. Tassel and fine flame retardant curtains should be placed in the wash bag to avoid damage caused by washing. When washing easy-to-spin linen curtains, there should be a mesh cover on the outside to avoid deformation of the tissue and shifting the yarn.
Whether it is hand washing or machine washing, it is necessary to ensure that the linen products are fully rinsed, and the residual detergent ingredients are removed as much as possible to avoid spots and color differences caused by oxidation of clothes. Do not soak for a long time, treat it at high temperature, and scrub the linen embroidery products vigorously. When washing colored linen embroidery, you can add a small amount of salt and a little vinegar when rinsing, which can prevent fading.
Before drying, do not twist the linen clothes and dry them naturally. It is best to tidy up the flame-retardant curtains before drying, so as to avoid wrinkles. Easy-spinned curtains are shaped at high temperature and have a morphological memory function. In addition, they still have flatness, heat insulation and heat insulation after drying, and resist ultraviolet rays, and do not require ironing. Other linden curtains should not be ironed after they are thoroughly dried. A slightly wet flame-retardant curtain is easier to iron. Over-drying and ironing can cause the linen to lose its natural moisture and become hardened, and over-drying and ironing curtains need to absorb moisture from the air.
