Post: Amorim moved up press conference last week to avoid players sitting idle at training base

According to the "Daily Mail" report, in order to ensure that players will not be idle at the training base before going to the away game, Manchester United coach Amorim decided to postpone Friday's training time. This change led Amorim to advance the pre-match press conference by 24 hours last week.
Normally, Manchester United will train at 11 a.m. so that Amorim can communicate with the media before the Premier League's 1:30 p.m. deadline on Friday. However, this arrangement leaves players with insufficient time to go home and rest after training, but they cannot leave the training base. United decided to hold training later on Friday before Amorim and his team traveled away and held a press conference on Thursday.
This arrangement will continue to be implemented before the game against Tottenham this week. However, there will be no similar problems in the coming period, until Manchester United's away game against Arsenal at the end of January.
