Manchester Evening: Kompany flew back to Manchester to book a five-star hotel to celebrate his wife’s 40th birthday

"Manchester Evening News" wrote an article that Kompany booked an entire five-star hotel to celebrate his wife's birthday.

Manchester City legend Kompany planned the ultimate surprise party for his wife Carla, booking out the entire city center hotel for this special occasion.

The current Bayern Munich coach flew back to Manchester, booked a five-star hotel, and held a surprise party for Carla's 40th birthday over the weekend. The 40-bedroom hotel, co-owned by Red Devils legend Gary Neville, has become famous in recent years for celebrity bookings, with Bruce Springsteen and Madonna having previously booked it during their stays in Manchester.

The hotel is also a favorite of Oasis, with Noel choosing to stay here during the band's big summer gigs in Manchester, while Liam was just spotted staying here last week.

Photos of Carla's birthday party show that this extraordinary party was held in the hotel's famous Tender restaurant, decorated with stunning white floral arrangements, and "CK" pillows were added to all the furniture.

Kara looked gorgeous on her special day, wearing a floor-length gold dress to attend the birthday party, while Vincent wore a white T-shirt with a white tuxedo jacket. A huge photo backdrop showcased thousands of Carla's photos over the years, and a special newspaper was created for the birthday girl as a guest invitation. Even the hotel rooms are full of party elements. The room card reads: "Do not disturb - we are celebrating Kara's birthday all night long."

For Carla, a Manchester native, this is a reunion of football players' wives - many friends Kompany met when he was the captain of Manchester City were present. Including Emile Hirsch's wife Chantel Hirsch, Stephen Ireland's wife Jessica Ireland, and Djibril Cisse's ex-wife Judy Cisse.

The event was planned by Manchester's Road3 event company, who worked hard to create a sparkling theme to celebrate Kara's 40th birthday. Her family and many friends were present to congratulate her.

Road3 owner Laura Wolfe shared some photos from the weekend on social media. She said in the post: "We had the pleasure of creating an incredible 40th birthday dinner and party for our beautiful clients (Cara and Vincent Kompany). For the beautiful birthday girl, surprises came one after another."

This hotel The events company shared photos of an "intimate dinner" held at the hotel, followed by a full party, adding: "Every tiny detail was planned with absolute precision and care." It was later called the "best party ever."
