TA: Bournemouth will sign Liverpool youngster Ben Dock for £25m
The Athletic reported that Bournemouth will sign Liverpool young player Ben Dock for £25 million.
The 19-year-old has completed his physical examination on Sunday and the transfer is expected to be officially completed on Monday. Ben Dock will be Bournemouth's fourth signing this summer. The deal will partially fill the gap left by forward Ouattara, who moved to Brentford last Saturday.
At this point, Ben Dock will become a member of the team's departure in Liverpool's major blood swap this summer, together with Louis Dias, Nunes, Arnold, Kellech and Konssa. In March 2022, Liverpool signed Ben Dock, then 16, from the Celtics for £600,000. He was loaned to the English Championship Middlesbrough last season, contributing 3 goals and 7 assists in 24 appearances. This youth training player has made 10 appearances for the Reds' first team.
Bornemouth lost to Liverpool in the first round of the new season, and the next game will be against Wolves on August 23.
